I knew no one when I came to York and was finding going away difficult as I had no neighbours or friends to rely on. Once I got in touch with Rachael I was very quickly able to get my diary back under control. My cat Mollie is just a tad eccentric but Rachael managed beauifully with her as well as making sure curtains and post were dealt with and the house has always been a haven of calm to come back to. I am extremely happy with the services of Rachael's company and would recommend her to anyone.

We have had Hazel come over to look after Bess, for almost a year now, sadly
Bess passed away on Monday 7th July.
I just wanted to say that the care that Hazel provided to Bess over the last
year has been fantastic, Hazel is an amazing young woman, her dedication to her
job and the pets she looks after is truly outstanding.
She had an amazing connection with Bess, she was always happy to see Hazel, in
fact when we came home from holiday last year, I swear Bess was disappointed
that it was us that came through the door, and not Hazel! It really put our
minds at ease that Hazel was looking after Bess, and we could enjoy our holidays
without worrying. She also sent us updates and photos so we could see that Bess
was ok.
Even in the last few weeks Hazel has been a comfort, she came to visit Bess when
she became ill, and Bess was so happy. When she sadly passed, Hazel offered her
support again, this was very much appreciated.
At the moment we aren't planning another pet, but we will have no hesitation in
having Hazel care for them.
Thank you again for all your help, take care and keep up the fantastic work you
all do.

I contacted Rachael at very short notice to ask if she could fit my two cats in for sitting over the bank holiday weekend. Rachael called me back within a short time and managed to fit in a first visit to my home on what looked like the busiest day of the year in her diary (7am start, 10pm finish!) My previous experience of a cat sitter several years ago was not good but Rachael was so friendly, yet also very thorough in gathering information, that I felt reassured.
While I was away Rachael sent me two text messages to let me know that Monty and Molly were okay and when I returned home three days later both cats were in their favourite spots in the living room and I might have only just popped out to the shops, they were so content.
Can't thank you enough Rachael, I'm a new, very satisfied customer and I've already got Monty and Molly booked in for our summer holidays.

Rachel and Mike have looked after my puppy, Bobby, for the last five months, going in twice a day to walk him and keep him company while I have been at work. I have been really impressed by their reliabilty and the care that they have offered to my growing dog. I would recommend York Pet Sitters to anyone

Rachael and Jo (?) looked after our cats, Oscar and Martha while we were away on holiday for 2 weeks recently. From the first phone call with Rachael, we were extremely impressed with York Pet Sitters and felt extremely confident that our cats would be looked after with care and attention while we were away.

Rachael came round to meet us beforehand and we chose the two visits a day option. One of our cats, Oscar, is quite nervous, but right from the start he seemed to trust Rachael which was great to see. During our holiday we texted Rachael a couple of times to check how things were going, and she got bak to us quickly putting our minds at ease.

When we got back the cats seemed happy and content and much better (and less stressed) than they would have been if we had put them in a cattery. This was out first time using York Pet Sitters, but certainly won't be the last - highly recommended.

I have used York Pet Sitter on many occasions in the last 2 years and have complete peace of mind when I leave my boys (two cats) there. Rachael does all she can to help, even at short notice on some occasions; she treats my cats as I wanted, they always look happy and relaxed when I'm back home. She reassures me that my cats enjoy ther holiday as much as I enjoy mine!

I wouldnt hesitate to recommend York Pet Sitters to anyone. My little dog - Daisy - is the love of my life so I wanted to be confident and comfortable with who is caring for her when I cant.
From the minute you meet Rachael you know your pet will be in good hands. A kind and genuine soul with a soft spot for all animals and nothing too much trouble. She takes a personal interest in each pet and has the patience of a saint!
She will keep you updated with any 'occurences' which come up so it is genuinely is like having a friend look after your pet and to top that Daisy loves her as much as I do :0)

If you are looking for a dog sitter whilst away on your holidays, Rachael recommended me to Tracey and I would like to enforce that recommendation. Daisy had a whale of a time with Racheal and wasnt too keen to come home again! It was obvious she had been spoilt rotten and Tracey was even thoughtful enough to send me a photo of Daisy while I was away to show me she was okay.
